QUICKSTART POLICY GUIDE
Knowing is not enough, you must apply; willing is not enough, you must do!
-Bruce Lee
Melaleuca has a few, very simple rules they ask us to follow. So below I have tried to sum it up and keep it simple. However, should you need further assistance or clarification, our Business Development Department is ready and willing to help in any way or answer any questions you have. For clarification on any of the following, please call Business Development at (208) 522-0870. There is a team of people ready to any your call anytime from 8am-8pm Eastern time.
1.) At no time can we use the word Melaleuca or pictures of the products in any of our advertisements or posts. This does not mean we can't tell people we work for Melaleuca. When someone requests info you may share the name of the company with people by private message.
(The reason behind this rule is to benefit us. Melaleuca does not want anyone to get the name of Melaleuca and then Google us only to find information that is completely untrue. They want our company information to be delivered by a representative who can explain our company correctly from top to bottom. Obviously, if someone gets false info from the internet it will mess up your chance of explaining to them how amazing we are and you could lose that enrollment all together.)
2.) If you are working another business besides Melaleuca, they ask you to keep the 2 businesses 100% separate on all levels. This means you would need to have 2 totally separate Facebook accounts, 1 for each of your businesses to promote from. So if you are already working 1 business, please open a second Facebook account for your Melaleuca Business. If you are no longer working a separate business and plan to switch to Melaleuca 100% then remove any reference, picture, advertisement or posts on your page about the other business.
3.) If you are working 2 separate business Melaleuca forbids what we call poaching. This means that we ask you never to pitch/recruit an existing member of Melaleuca to another business you are working. If you are presenting Melaleuca to a new person, they ask you not to then turn around and present your other business. Even if they say no to Melaleuca, you are asked not to pitch them any other business because it can make you lose credibility and may ruin your chance of getting that person signed up in the future.
